It’s one of the more expensive speaker sets on the market, but it is a full-system set with a receiver and subwoofer for a full surround sound experience.

Even after the upgrades, the Z625 is still affordable and comes with a 2- year warranty. Different traders tag the item at a close range of $100 and $150. If you need visual input, then this is the better option. However, if you are looking for an affordable speaker system with many inputs, the z623 is a solid choice.

Clearly, between Logitech Z623 and Z625, putting other differences aside and considering the optical input of Z625 and analog RCA and 3.5mm input of Z623, we can conclude that Z625 is better than its little brother Z623.


The Logitech Z623 is the slightly less expensive of the two options. The z623 includes analog inputs, while the z625 consists of optical inputs.

The only significant difference between the z623 and z625 is that the z625 includes an optical input, whereas the z623 only has analog inputs. Using an optical connection results in a cleaner sound with improved channel separation.
