Voice control built-in
You can control your music, obtain information, and manage your day without lifting a finger with Google Assistant and Alexa embedded directly into the Bose Smart Soundbar 700.
To begin listening, select your voice assistant. You may also make or take calls to Bose intelligent devices, Amazon Echo devices, and anyone in your contact directory using Alexa alone. Hands-free, phone-free, and cost-free.
But, if the soundbar can’t hear you, what good is voice control? A custom-designed eight-microphone array provides improved voice pickup and will listen to you no matter how loud your music is.
It appears to be as good as it sounds
The Bose Smart Soundbar 700 is as gorgeous on the outside as it is inside, with a tempered glass top, wraparound metal grille, clean lines, and an outstanding finish.
Put the soundbar on the TV stand or tastefully mount it on the wall. It’s appealing to the eye and ear in either case. You can then connect your Bose soundbar to your TV for a fulfilling multimedia experience.
All you’ll need is a single remote
Are you tired of figuring out which remote controls which devices? That’s something the makers probably understand.
As a result, a remote was created that you’ll want to use. The Bose Soundbar Universal Remote is included with your soundbar purchase and allows you to control all of your entertainment with a single button press.
It has six presets and only illuminates the buttons you need at the time, making it even easier to locate your favorites.
Take command of your listening pleasure
With the Bose Music app, you can quickly browse through all of your music in one location and smoothly switch between stations, playlists, and services. It’s also another straightforward way to use the Bose Smart Soundbar 700.
It’s simple to set up presets on the app so that you can listen to your favorite music with just a few taps. Furthermore, numerous users can customize their content and experience. Moreover, the app simplifies the setup process by guiding you through each step.
Soundbars should do everything they can to blend into the background. After all, if you wanted your TV room’s focal point to be a speaker, you’d buy the biggest one you could find.
But, let’s face it, you’re going to notice a soundbar unless you hide it behind a wall, which would defeat both its sound and its simplicity. As a result, if you’re going to need a soundbar, It should be the Bose Soundbar 700 from time to time.
The Soundbar 700 is one of those rare pieces of technology that may enhance rather than detract from your decor, thanks to its exquisite lines, wonderfully smooth glass surface, and incredibly short and shallow stature.
You can choose whether it blends into the backdrop or stands out by choosing between black and white. It’s a beautiful speaker in terms of aesthetics.
Pricing And Budget
Soundbars began as simple devices. Their goal was to produce the superb quality possible from a single speaker, allowing people to forget about wiring difficulties and enjoy their TV and music with their soundbar.
While this is still true of some soundbar models, the industry is rapidly returning to its roots. There are more voices, and there is less simplicity.
The Bose Soundbar 700 is a throwback to the original soundbar concept, but it also has some cutting-edge technologies hidden beneath its attractive design.
Quality Of Sound
The Bose Soundbar 700 sounds excellent, and unlike a few other soundbars we’ve tried, it can handle both TV soundtrack audio and streaming music. Check out our guide on how to connect the soundbar to various TVs.
A series of center midrange speakers and a tweeter is hidden behind the grille, and they deliver the majority of the direct sound you hear, including crystal-clear speech. Bose’s PhaseGuide arrays, on the other hand, are snuggled into the edges of the bar.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are two caveats worth mentioning, mainly because the Soundbar 700 is a significant investment. These object-based surround codecs are the most up-to-date, and when matched with a Dolby Atmos or DTS:X soundtrack, the results can be exhilarating, with sounds that feel like they perfectly fit the on-screen action.
The Soundbar 700 can be linked to your TV using an optical cable or HDMI ARC. Because the speaker can only play Dolby Digital and DTS audio signals, there’s no benefit to choosing one over the other in terms of sound quality.
However, if you use HDMI ARC, the universal remote will be more effective because it can send orders to connected devices via the CEC protocol (delivering commands over HDMI).
Ethernet (as a more robust option to Wi-Fi) and other dedicated ports for the Adaptiq mic, a wired bass module (subwoofer), an optional IR repeater, and one for “data” (we’re still not sure what that one does) are all tucked in with the HDMI ARC and optical connections at the back of the bar.
The Soundbar 700 has a unique feature when it comes to Bluetooth: using Bose’s SimpleSync technology, you can use it as a Bluetooth source for a pair of wireless headphones for private listening.
It’s narrow and short enough to slip between the legs of practically any TV that’s at least 50 inches wide and slide neatly under it, at 38.5 inches wide and only 2.25 inches tall. An optional (and surprisingly reasonable) $40 bracket is available if you wish to wall-mount it.
The Bose soundbar is a sleek music enhancer that puts you into the music. it comes in a sleek and portable size that helps you save space for comfortable use.
